Some rib of beef left over from last night. Some small eggplants from the markets. A batch of curry paste I had made a couple of weeks ago. Voila. A very simple Sunday meal.

I'm learning cooking. I cook every day but I'm not very talented. But I try. I do as you did, I take recipes from magazines. Or the internet.
Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's inedible.

We have a TV program here - Masterchef. I know it's in the UK, but I'm not sure about Germany. It has been good because it has inspired a lot of people to have a go at cooking things they never would have tried before - and that must be good. I will post more recipes - eventually I will have recipes for everything in my blog ... when I find the time. My main job is writing - advertising, articles and books. I used to work as Creative Director in ad agencies here in Australia and Mexico and have a LOT of art at home. I am also working on a few Internet projects. All of these jobs keep me busy - which is why I don't have time to write the recipes for all the dishes I post. One day! As for your cooking, we all have disasters - even the top Michelin 3 toque chefs. :)
